The contest is open to young freight forwarders whose age will not be over 32 in the competition year; 2 years full-time forwarding work experience would be preferable but not mandatory.
The international award comprises two weeks of practical and academic training which are provided by the TT Club, the main sponsor of the award. One week’s of academic training in London and one week's practical training based in one of the TT Club’s regional centres, London, Hong Kong or New Jersey; one year’s free subscription to the International Transport Journal (ITJ), Switzerland crown the package. However it must be said that the prestige and opportunities that this award opens to the winders are behind the enthusiasm behind the many applications.
Each FIATA Association Member is entitled to present one candidate; the deadline for nominating candidates is 15 January 2016.
